BAN THE BAG!

Wow. Fancy that - Zanzibar leads the way and bans the plastic bag.

"Anyone found producing, importing, using or selling plastic bags could face a fine of $2,000 (£1,120) and a jail sentence of up to 12 months"

Briljant.*

*Plastic bags are quite unecessary. However, they do make the perfect bra.

OBSESSED

I'm obsessed.

As mentioned in my
Training Blog (I blog, therefore I am), I find out next Monday whether I have a place in the Flora London Marathon (2007) on Monday.

I can't stop thinking about it!

DOUBT KILLS

The British Heart Foundation have launched a new campaign today that is hard to ignore. If you get chest pains that just don't feel right - dial 999 (In the UK!) IMMEDIATELY.
Check out the warning signs.
Dis die vaarheid. (You know it makes sense.)

WHAT A WASTE!

I read today that the average UK citizen wastes more than £400 a year on throwing away unwanted food. I reckon it must be more than that?

I'm doing everything I can to reduce waste. (I'm not sure why - I have no "offspring" to think about - I think I'm just hoping for good recycling karma or a nod from God for my efforts, on judgement day?)

I also read today that the governement is intending to tax non-recyclable packaging. Hoorah!

Anyone else care to join me in my (so far) one woman crusade to never eat a factory/supermarket/sarnie-vendor sarnie packaged in PLASTIC again.

Soon we will be surrounded by little plastic triangle mountains everywhere that will never bio-degrade.

"Sorry I'm late into work - kept tripping over those pesky triangle mountains..."

BAN THE TRIANGLE.

Super.

SO SLEEEEPY

I'm not sure if it's the fact that I was out last night, the grey skies, or the sub-tropical office that I'm sat in - but I feeeeeeel so sleeeeeeeepy.

I'm going to have to go for a run tonight to clear my head...

I HEART BATH

What a glorious morning in Bath. The sun being out makes all the difference.

Noice.

BACK

After a bumpy flight home, and a truly adventurous holiday - I can admit that it's rather lovely being back. Although I did feel slightly sad to leave Africa today.

It is my birthplace after all.

Innit.
