10KM RUN - I DID IT!

I survived the Cancer Research UK 10km (6m) run at Bowood House '05 in aid of Cancer Research UK.

A very big thank you to everyone who sponsored me in this, my longest race yet. The run (on 25 September) was a good un - through cow pats, up many a steep hill, through mud, traversing rocky paths, o'er fields and round the lake at glorious Bowood house. I made it in 63 minutes.

I am now entered in the Bath Half Marathon (Running for the British Heart Foundation) next March.

ARE THERE FJORDS IN NORWAY?

I didn't notice.

"We didn't charged [surname, forename] for that accident."

Jolly good.

I HAVE A SEEEEEECREEEEET

Spoke to my boss yesterday to tell him my plans for my future. (To get my life back and to no longer be pimped by ginormous corporation). He was philosophical about the whole affair (after telling me how much this year's pay rise was going to be) and said "You need to make your own way in life."

I liked that.

I haven't told the project team I'm working with yet.

They're going to be so pleased for me. (Not!)

Lekker - ek gaan my lewe geniet en nie in n hotel room sit nie.

I should tell them really....
