WELTANGSHAUNG

Anyone up for a bit of mid-week weltangshaung?

Today's "World View" speaks volumes about why I continue to live in the lovely U of K.

News in South Africa Today:

"
Outcry in SA over racist video"
"
Several white students in South Africa face criminal charges after allegedly forcing black campus employees to eat food that had been urinated on."

Put them behind bars for a long long long long (longer) time. Im no expert - but I reckon this goes way beyond racism. I feel sick. Truly.

And, meanwhile, in the UK, while earthquakes rage about our heads (or feet, or chimney stacks), there is an uproar brewing...

"BBC responds to rugby complaints"

"124 viewers have complained that too much rugby was shown on BBC One throughout Saturday."

Briljant!

SERIOUSLY

What a beautiful weekend for a picnic by the river & a walk along the towpath.

Glorious.

Me thinks the narrow boat dwellers are a bit fed up, though....

COUNSELLING REQUIRED?

A bona fide sign in m'workplace that cheers me right up:

I think the need for counselling might be taking it a step too far though, eh?
